Pentax launches Optio M20 and Optio A20 digital cameras.
Pentax have announced the release of two new digital cameras in time for Photokina 2006.
Pentax Optio A20 Digital Camera
The Optio A20 is the new Optio flagship model and follows on from the A10. The A20 offers a 10 megapixel sensor and three anti-shake functions including shake reduction through two gyro sensors, blur reduction based on a high ISO (upto 1600) and movie anti shake.
The A20 also has face recognition for portraits, a standard 3 times SMC coated optical zoom, DivX® MPEG4 video at 640 x 480 and AF auto tracking. Like other Optio models, the A20 is very small and has a high resolution 2.5" LCD.

Pentax Optio M20 Digital Camera
The Optio M20 is the follow on from the Optio M10 and offers a higher resolution 7 megapixel sensor together with blur reduction with an ISO of upto 1600, VGA movies at 30 fps with anti shake, AF and AE face recognition for portraiture and continuous AF tracking.
Other features includea a 3x Pentax optical zoom lens, a 115,000 pixel 2.5" LCD and long battery life with 220 shots from AA alkaline batteries and around 700 shots from AA lithium batteries.
