Panasonic announces Lumix DMC-L1 digital SLR availability & pricing
Panasonic has released details regarding its' first digital SLR camera. The Lumix DMC-L1 will become available in the United States in early September 2006 and will cost substantially more than the similar Olympus E-330 at a rrp of $1,999. Key features of the DMC-L1 digital SLR include FourThirds system compatibility, 2.5" LCD with live view, 7.5 megapixel sensor, raw file support, supersonic wave filter dust reduction system, manual control, SD card support, USB2 and the camera will initially be supplied with a Leica D Vario-Elmarit 14-50mm F2.8-3.5 lens with image stabilization.
