Travel Photography: Arambol beach scene in Goa, India.

Unlike many other regions of the world, Goa in India is still relatively uncrowded as a beach destination with a lack of large hotels. This photograph was taken on a Nikon digital slr camera with a Nikkor 18 - 55mm zoom lens. Goa is an idyllic place for travel photography with its numerous beaches, old Portuguese architecture in towns such as Panaji and the local people. One of the biggest surprises about Goa was the food. Meals which were only a few dollars were fresh, flavoursome and available in various restaurants along the beach. Just the thing after a hard day`s photography and relaxation on the beach.
