Benq announces 7 megapixel E720 and X720 digital cameras.
BenQ have announced the release of their new 7 megapixel E720 digital camera and the BenQ X720 - the world's slimmest seven megapixel camera.
Like some other BenQ cameras, the BenQ E720 sports a 3x SMC coated Pentax zoom lens for higher quality images. The aluminium outer coating of the camera is resistant to moisture while the BenQ metal grip on the side provides something to steady the camera. Other features are fairly routine these days and include the customary scene modes to cope with various situations or conditions, a shake free mode which prevents blurred photos through camera shake at low light levels, a high ISO light sensitivity of 1200 and movies with the added bonus of being able to move the zoom during the recording. The BenQ E720 also has a large 2.5 inch LTPS screen for easier viewing. |

The second digital camera to be introduced by BenQ is the ultra slim BenQ X720 which has a body measuring just 12.5 mm making it the slimmest 7 megapixel camera on the market. Other features include a Pentax SMC 3x optical zoom lens, a stainless steel body, a super shake free mechanism to reduce blur, high speed ISO settings upto 1200 and ISO 4000 in certain modes and a large 2.5 inch LCD display. The BenQ X720 has already been awarded the 2006 iF China Design Award for its' ultra slim and elegant design. |
