Travel Photography: Sony Center in Berlin, Germany
Shot of the Month - June 2008

This photograph was taken in Berlin in 2008 inside the dramatic Sony Center. I used a Nikon D40x digital slr camera with the high quality Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM ultra wide-angle zoom lens. Set to its widest setting of 10mm (equivalent to 15mm on a 35mm camera), the Sigma 10-20mm zoom lens gives a ultra-wide sweeping shot which manages to capture the striking interior of the Sony Center. Berlin as a whole was a pleasant surprise and a great place for travel photography with its historical monuments, wide streets, dramatic architecture, friendly people and laid back cafe lifestyle.
