This shot of the dramatic Tokyo skyline by night was taken on a Kodak P880 which is an ideal travel digital camera with its 24mm to 140mm (35mm equivalent) Schneider zoom lens. The glowing Tokyo Tower dominates the skyline and helps to provide a focal point amongst the masses of buildings and lights. Tokyo is not for the faint hearted with its huge population and congested transport system. Often considered the largest city in the world, Tokyo is a fascinating mixture of the ultra modern and the distant past with high tech retail outlets in the same area as buddhist temples or Shinto shrines. For lovers of photographic gadgetry, Tokyo is awash with everything photographic from classic Leica cameras to point and shoot digital cameras for the mass market.
